Volunteering should feel good. Here's how we keep it that way — and how to tell us when it isn't.
Ground rules for volunteers
- •Tell a parent or guardian where you're going and when you'll be back.
- •Meet at the public address on the listing — never at someone's home.
- •Keep your last name, address, school, and phone number to yourself.
- •Adults should never ask you to message them privately or handle money.
- •If something feels off, leave and tell a trusted adult. You can always cancel.
If you're ever in immediate danger, call your local emergency number first, then tell us.
